Transforming livestock systems for a changing climate
Feeding the world while addressing climate change is one of the defining challenges of our time. My work focuses on how livestock agrifood systems can contribute to climate solutions—rather than being seen only as part of the problem.
I conduct research on greenhouse gas emissions assessment, methane mitigation, nitrogen use efficiency, and the environmental performance of livestock agrifood systems, with a strong emphasis on robust measurement, reporting and verification frameworks for climate and carbon markets.
